'(9 Jan 2017) STARS AT GOLDEN GLOBES HAPPY TO TALK FASHION Stars at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (8 January 2017) were more than happy to talk about their fashion choices -- but also embraced a two-year-old campaign dubbed \"ask her more\" to encourage red carpet questions to women about more substantive issues. \"Moonlight\" actress Naomie Harris wore a custom silver gown from Armani Prive to the event in Beverly Hills, California. \"I didn\'t even choose it. They designed it especially for me. Which is amazing,\" she said. \"Insecure\" creator and star Issa Rae wore a custom Christian Siriano dress. \"I\'m really excited that he took time out of his busy schedule to think of little old me,\" she said. \"Veep\" actress Anna Chlumsky said she\'s a fashion fan. \"I don\'t want to step on anybody\'s toes. But it never bothers me to talk about it, because I\'m like really obsessed with fashion. Like, it\'s ridiculous. I look on Vogue runway and always look at the shows. That\'s my own thing – it\'s like Barbies for grown-ups, right? So that\'s my thing. But certainly if people don\'t want to answer a certain question, they shouldn\'t feel like they have to,\" she said. \"Transparent\" star Judith Light was more than happy to talk fashion on the red carpet. \"I am not offended when people ask me about fashion – at all. There have been a lot of people who have worked very hard to put me together today,\" she said. \"And I have no problem talking about fashion. It\'s not the only thing I want to talk about. I want to talk about the depth and the substance of a show like \'Transparent\' and that we\'re nominated tonight at the Golden Globes and that Jeffrey Tambor is nominated. But what I\'m wearing is Balmain.\" \"Outlander\" actress Caitriona Balfe wore Delpozo and said she supported the push to \"ask her more.\" \"It\'s nice that we get to dress up in beautiful clothes. And it\'s a nice symbiotic relationship between entertainment and fashion, but it\'s not the only thing that we are about. So yeah, it\'s nice that we get asked other things,\" she said. And as for fashion designer-turned-film director Tom Ford, he was happy to focus on both film and clothes at Sunday\'s event. \"I would like to say that I only have my mind on film. However, yes, of course – I\'m looking at all these people beautifully dressed and of course, one eye is on fashion,\" he said.
