'Video Edited By - Lovelish Thakur How should I create an impressive portfolio for my Design Entrance Exams ? This is one of the most frequently asked questions by aspiring design students. The webinar focuses on the components of a portfolio, type of work to be included, format specifications and some ‘dos’ and ‘donts’ to follow when creating and presenting the portfolio. To ensure that students understand the requirements of a good quality portfolio, the Indian Institute of Art and Design organised a webinar on Portfolio creation on 27th April 2017. The Webinar was conducted by Ms. Prachi Mittal, who heads the academic process for foundation program (1st Year) at IIAD. She has several years of experience in product design, lifestyle accessories, graphics, and retail management. With an industry and academic experience of above 18 years, she has worked with some of the most renowned brands in India. She has also led curriculum development at various design institutes across India. Ms. Mittal holds a Bachelors degree in Accessory Design from NIFT, New Delhi and is currently in the process of completing her Post Graduate qualification from Kingston University, London. She was joined by her colleagues from the Admissions and Outreach Department, Mr. Manish Mangla and Ms. Bhavvna Jolly who answered student queries on portfolio and the IIAD admissions process.'
