'Hey there, I\'m Karli Bulnes. Fashion Star\'s John Varvatos gives us his take on Jessica Simpson\'s naked pregnant pic and their new series in today\'s PopSugar Rush.  \"Mishaps and fights and tensions, it\'s really real.\"  John Varvatos says his new reality show, Fashion Star, is bursting at the seams with drama! The fashion designer dished about the new series while walking the red carpet at his annual Stuart House event on Sunday, which benefits the rape treatment center at the Santa Monica-UCLA hospital. That\'s where our own Lindsay Miller caught up with him to find out more about the competition and his costars.  John Varvatos will be teaming up with Jessica Simpson and Nicole Richie on their new reality series Fashion Star and we asked him what he thought about Jessica\'s nude cover for Elle.  \"I thought she looked gorgeous, I saw it the other morning, I sent her an email immediately I woke up to the NY Post cover with her and I was like wow I just woke up to something really gorgeous.\"  And according to Mr. Varvatos, Jess has the brains to go along with all that beauty.  The industry veteran says Ms. Simpson and Ms. Richie are both fashion forces to be reckoned with.  \"Nicole was very much about kind of eclectic and glamour and Jessica is about the real all American girl, so they come from two different perspectives, they\'re both really well spoken when they talk about fashion and they both have their own points of view, which is completely different, and it adds to the flavor.\"  Fashion Star premieres tomorrow on NBC.
