'This Spring Summer 2016 collection is an amalgamation of how different countries, languages, religions, and cultures picture their afterlife;Their concept of the great beyond. Every religion has a different image of the afterlife, whether it be heaven and hell, or bliss and suffering. Jamie Wei Huang stays true to her signature style of strong elongated silouettes, constructed in a feminine way with a careful juxtaposition of fabrics to cater to the modern woman. With her unique motif of metal trimming and leathers, luxurious fabrications play a key part in telling the story of Nibbana.The thoughts of heaven are illustrated with lighter woven white fabrics in floaty silhouettes to harsh reds and cobalt blues symbolic of the seven circles of hell. Jacquard prints are used in two colourways to enhance the story with bold devil images manip- ulated into strong bikers, statement bralets, and straight leg trousers.The light metal trimmings continuing on from AW15\'s buckled harness strap details are intertwined to add a sport luxe element to an otherwise contemporary collection. Spring Summer 2016 carries symbols and metaphors which are thought provoking, and they convey a different message to the viewer regarding their own life experiences and cultures. The reaction of how people interpret the collection brings another very special and personal element to their own world of Nibbana.'
