'(10 Jun 2017) A FIGHT BREAKS OUT AT OPENING CEREMONY LA FASHION SHOW A fight broke out at the Opening Ceremony fashion show in downtown Los Angeles on Friday night (9 June). The fashion line from Humberto Leon and Carol Lim showcased Western-inspired clothes in a runway show that ended with one model tripping and shoving another, leading to a full-scale brawl -- all choreographed by stuntwoman Zoe Bell and set to a live score by Wu-Tang Clan beatmaster The RZA. \"We decided to embrace the LA-ness that we love, which is like this fun, other world – this Hollywood side. We decided to bring that into the show,\" Leon said after the show, timed to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the boutique\'s LA store. The actual models stood off to one side while ten stuntwomen -- including Bell and \"American Ninja Warrior\" Jessie Graff -- flipped across the runway stage, sometimes even using the brand\'s clothes as weapons. \"These stuntwomen have never all been together before. And they\'re all friends. And there\'s never been a movie where they\'re needed -- ten women stunt doubles. So in many ways, this was also celebrating girl power and yeah, almost like a bunch of sisters coming together. Obviously everyone makes up at the end, so it\'s a fight for good.\" Lim and Leon both grew up in Southern California and met in college. They say the collection on display Friday night grew out of a college road trip. \"We kind of designed this collection knowing that we would be in the West. Carol and I took a trip when we were in college to the Southwest, New Mexico. So a lot of this came from that period. We looked at artists like Ken Price and Georgia O\'Keeffe, and it was this mashup between his colors, her actual garments that she wore,\" Leon said. For RZA, producing a live score for the fight scene was a challenge. \"It was deep. I haven\'t done Broadway yet, you know what I mean?\" he said. \"I think it was really unique. And I think they pulled it off. When the sleeves came out – because we rehearsed it without the full costume. So when the sleeves came out and all of that, it just made it like wow – now I see. It was fun.\" Find out more about AP Archive: http://www.aparchive.com/HowWeWork Twitter: https://twitter.com/AP_Archive Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/APArchives Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/APNews/ You can license this story through AP Archive: http://www.aparchive.com/metadata/youtube/b09cdf7c33da343185b270bea55adfe0'
