'Making a Pirate Shirt - for casual wear & costumes! (CAN I DIY?)'

'Aye Maties, Follow me on this voyage as I attempt to make a \'wearable\" pirate shirt for my partners birthday. The goal is a dual purpose blouse that he could wear casually or for a costume. Shiver me timbers in the comments!... I don\'t really know what that means either but i\'ll leave it up to you for interpretation! :)   Some of the sewing methods I used were a first for me. But I promise it turned out not to be as daunting as I thought it would be, and I think I pulled it off successfully. If you ever find yourself afraid to try something new (that won\'t endanger your life), give it a shot and throw yourself in! you\'ll never know what could happen it might even me easier than you thought!
