'The Big London Fashion Week anti-fur protest organised by Surge held over three days 15-17 September 2017. Due to the fact that the big fur companies and the International Fur Trade Federation have been doing their best to make sure real fur is still being used by fashion designers, and big name celebrities are being \'gifted fur coats to promote the wearing of fur, the protest took place during London Fashion Week in opposition to this. Millions of animals are being kept in the most cruel and abusive confinement and slaughtered each year even though faux fur would be a much more ethical alternative. The fur industry is a powerful industry and have doubled the amount they spend on advertising and PR. People need to stop being seduced by this industry while innocent animals are being, used, exploited and suffering as they do just to keep these companies making large amounts of money. In countries like China where there are no animal welfare laws animals are being killed in the most inhumane way and being skinned alive.'
