'The Royal Family has become a major market for gambling companies, with the most important royal events marking the occasion to launch several different bets. And the birth of Meghan and Prince Harry’s firstborn is not an exception, with online betting websites inviting people to gamble on the changes of the Duchess of Sussex to give birth to twins, or even quintuplets, the time of birth of her baby and the godparents. But online betting company Betfair has come up with a series of special bets which put little Prince Louis, who was born on April 23 last year, in competition with Meghan and Harry’s firstborn. One of the bets available to punters asks them to gamble on “who will go bald first”.  Katie Baylis, PR manager at Betfair, told Express.co.uk this is one of the most popular bets among the ones putting Louis and the latest royal baby against one another. While she clarifies the bets “would have defined times when a result is known”, which won\'t be anytime soon, Ms Baylis revealed there are factors helping punters to decide to bet on one or the other child. She said: “Prince William’s current follicle status and the genetic implications of that would be a factor, although both William and Harry obviously have very similar genes.  READ MORE: Why are Prince Harry and William going bald? What can you do to prevent hair loss? “However, in addition, we know Louis is male whereas Harry and Meghan’s child is yet to be known, this also gives an \'advantage\' to Louis in balding first.” Prince William’s hair loss started when he was still in his late 20s. However, his brother Prince Harry has also started experiencing the same issue in the past years, with his hair going thinner in a similar way to his father Prince Charles. Dr Shahmalak, of Crown Clinic, said: \"You can see there has been a significant deterioration in Harry\'s hair over the last two years.  \"He is developing an appreciable bald spot around his crown and the thinning towards the front of his hairline is accelerating. There are significant gaps in the cover right across the top of his scalp. \"If he does nothing he will go bald as his older brother over the next 10 years.\" According to the NHS, half of all men experience hair loss by the age of 50. The condition is genetic, which means both Prince Louis and Meghan and Harry’s firstborn, if a male, could be affected.'
