MS Galliano on stage. GALLIANO\'S PIRATES OF PARIS John Galliano, one of fashion\'s top talents, offered a radically different take on next summer for the style-conscious man - the pirate look. The British bad boy obviously adored Johnny Depp in \'Pirates of the Caribbean\', bringing the actor\'s sexy, bedraggled look to the Paris catwalk for his second menswear fashion show. Galliano once again displayed his love for putting on a great show. His stage was dressed to become a Spanish galleon and his models appeared as pirates, cowboys and Indians, as the designer turned from steamy sex to romantic- hero masculinity. A fashion marriage between the hard and the sensual was celebrated with leather trouser slashed to reveal powerful thighs and velvet vests caressing the torso. Battered stovepipe hats and full-leg trousers were worn with wide sashes under cropped military-type jackets. Tailored pieces were decked with jet embroidery and lace. At the core of the collection was Galliano\'s signature newspaper print underwear. The costumes will be greatly modified before hitting the store racks.
