'\"DRIES VAN NOTEN\" Full Show Spring Summer 2015 Paris by Fashion Channel  Dries Van Noten presented a colorful spring summer 2015 collection, ensconced in a dreamlike state, with models showing off lavish fabrics and incongruous prints. It\'s a collection about a girl who is in touch with the natural world around her, a mossy carpet beneath her feet as she took serenely to the catwalk in signature easy Dries separates - slouchy trousers, oversized blazers, shrunken bomber jackets, spacious T-shirt tunics, boxy-big shorts and a series of wispy-wafty dresses, all spaghetti straps and asymmetric hems. All easy. All elegant. All edited just the Dries way. The masculine elements that always weave their way into Van Noten\'s womenswear were delicately rendered here as necktie silks and pajama patterns in the filmiest fabrics. At the finale of the Dries Van Noten show, rather than strutting backstage in a flurry of flashbulbs, the models either sat or lolled about on the tufted moss-coloured catwalk. It may not sound groundbreaking but amid the ritualised world of fashion weeks, this closing scene, which recalled Millais’ Ophelia painting, was remarkable enough to evoke a dreamy tone.
