'WORLD FASHION WEEK® ASIA 2017 - OPENING GALA CELEBRATED CULTURAL DIVERSITY & THE BEAUTY, POWER & ARTISTIC GLOBAL MOVEMENT OF FASHION.   -- KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, 21 SEPTEMBER 2017 – As the inaugural international fashion event in Asia, World Fashion Week® Malaysia 2017 was hosted by the city of Kuala Lumpur from 7 to 10 September 2017 at the Palace of the Golden Horses.   To welcome and celebrate a new historic chapter, the gathering and like-minded vision of fashion designers, ambassadors, ministers, celebrities and affiliate industries from across the globe, World Fashion Week® Malaysia 2017 was kicked off by the Red-Carpet Gala Dinner.  The official launch of World Fashion Week® Malaysia 2017, held on the 8th of September 2017, was graced by the presence of His Royal Highness Sultan of Selangor YM Tengku Permaisuri Selangor and Her Royal Highness the Queen of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin Abdul Rahman. The honorary Royal Family welcomed and were witnesses to the culture-rich creations of 47 represented nations and fashion designers from across the world by means of runway shows held during the Gala Dinner, proudibly sponsored by Tzarcoute Watches,   In light of the global campaign ‘Eco Fashion & Lifestyles - Love the Nature” and the continuous commemoration of international, culture-rich fashion, World Fashion Week® Malaysia 2017 saw the gathering of fashion designers from 5 continents. Up-and-coming, emerging and established fashion designers were invited to showcase their 2018 Couture and Resort Collections to hundreds of internationally acclaimed buyers, retailers, and media – debuting and setting the trends for the global consumer.
