'I\'ve been working on how I wanted to use a this specific armor set. I like the idea of one srmor set that can be re decorated slightly for any weapon. This set orginal started as a status CB set with the sole purpose of paralyzing the monster as many times to have the rest of the team output high damage. Of course I didn\'t just want to use CB only. Any weapon with the ability to block will work well with this set. Set: Checkmate Weapon: Empress Cannon \"Ruin\" Weapon Augment: Health Regen Weapon Skill: Hasten Recovery Guard up decoration Head: Vaal Hazak Helm y Earplugs decoration Chest: Bazel Mail b 2 recovery speed decorations Arms: Vaal Hazak Braces b 3 guard decorations Waist: Xeno\'jiiva Spine b Mind\'s eye & blight resistance decorations Legs: Vaal Hazak Greaves y Earplugs & recovery up decorations Charm: Earplugs Charm III Tools: Temporal Mantle & Affinity Booster Skills Vaal Hazak Vitality Earplugs lvl 5 Guard lvl 5 Recovery Up lvl 3 Recovery Speed lvl 3 Blight Resistance lvl 3 Peak Performance lvl 2 Dragon Attack lvl 1 Mind\'s Eye/Ballistics Guard Up Hasten Recovery I\'m not too big a fan of HBG and I really do not care for shield modifications on them. But, I wanted to prove to myself that I can use this set with any weapon with a block function including a HBG with a shield mod. The HBG ver. of this set has vaal hazak vitality, hasten recovery, health regen augment (eventually), recovery up, recovery speed for the most self sustainability I could make. High grade earplugs for when I don\'t block a monsters roar or to not be interrupted when reloading, wyvernsniping or healing with a potion. 2 shield mods, guard up and guard lvl 5 to block all attacks with minimum knock back. Blight resistance lvl 3 to negate all blight. Peak performance lvl 2 you could swap decorations around to get lvl 3 but this set was made as a self sustaining status support set. Needing lvl 3 Peak Performance is not as important to me as boosting either elemental or status damage on a weapon. Dragon Attack lvl 1 comes naturally on the head piece you may benafit from it/build upon it or not. Mind\'s eye/ballistics for the bigger and further crit distance.'
