'Michelle (Mikki) Taylor, 1970\'s Fashion in Film Michelle (Mikki) Taylor M. F. A. is an adjunct lecturer in the Fashion Merchandising Program in the Department of Art at Howard University. She teaches Fashion Illustration I & II.  When not teaching, Mikki Taylor is a Sr. Corporate Marketing and Branding Graphic Designer and sole proprietor of Taylor Made Designs, a graphic design company.  With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, in Studio Art, a minor in Interior Design and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Electronic Studio from Howard University, she brings in excess of 20 years of experience in Graphic Design to the classroom. Her many interests are varied, and range from architecture, fashion, interior design, music and photography. Her photography has been used in many of the graphic design collaterals pieces she has produced.  Recently, she has begun the process of designing fabric prints via the camera lens and computer aided design.
