Models and attendees referred to the vast majority of the population being plus-sized, stressing the lucrative aspect of embracing the fuller figures in the fashion industry.   Now in its fourth year, NYUFW coincides with New York Fashion Week (NYFW) but has set itself apart this year by opening the floor to plus-size models.
