'Lummi tribal member Althea Wilson has been teaching modeling to kids for 20 years. Her Bellingham, Washington-based business Visions Fashion Modeling Agency helps young people ages 6-25 build self-confidence by teaching them the many facets and the discipline of runway modeling. It\'s not about big, short, tall, thin, but about getting kids excited about doing something for themselves and growing their self-esteem. Arts and culture blogger Paul Niemi of http://unclepauliesworld.blogspot.com spoke to Wilson about her experience, her background, and her mother\'s influence on her decision to become a fashion designer in the last year. For more information on classes, email Althea at [email protected].'
