'Hey friends! Today I have a SUPER fun fashion diy for you! I\'ve been seeing painted jackets and painted jeans all over Pinterest, so I decided to do this fun little pop art jacket! I did end up cutting the sleeves off, so now its a vest, but anyways... Things you\'ll need: Acrylic Paint Paintbrushes Ruler / Tape Measure Some Creativity! (Or a google search lol) I decided to make my own design for the back of this jacket, but there are so many great designs on Google or Pinterest that you can use for your own. Just type in \"Comic Pop Art\" and you\'ll end up getting something like what I designed. After you have your design, make a grid! Measure your jacket and your piece of art and decide how big/small you need your grid to be. Ask yourself: should my grid squares by 1-inch x 1 inch? Or .75 inch x .75 inch? Will there be extra space at the bottom or top of my jacket? Where do I want to place my design to make it look the best? I decided to put my design at the top of my jacket, leaving a little extra space at the bottom. I couldn\'t have filled the entire back of the jacket without distorting the original design. Trace your original design in the grid with some washable marker or pen/pencil/whatever of your choosing. Next, fill that baby in with some paint! Outline your finished design, and spray some sealant on it!
