My mamaw used to make this and it has been a family tradition since then. Christmas never passes without mom making this wonderful fudge. Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge Ingredients 4 cups sugar 14 1/2 ounce can evaporated milk 1 cup butter Mix and heat these over a medium heat to soft ball stage (230°) stirring often. Remove from heat and stir in: 1 package (12oz) semi sweet chocolate chips. and stir till almost melted Then add 7 ounces marshmallow cream and stir to combine. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped walnuts. Beat till chocolate completely melts Pour into a buttered 13×9 baking dish. Score while still warm and then cut when firm.
