'(4 Oct 2021) STELLA MCCARTNEY SHOWS BODYCON SILHOUETTES, CUT-OUTS IN COLORFUL SPRING-SUMMER 2022 COLLECTION Stella McCartney showed off a selection of bodycon silhouettes and revealing cut-outs in her spring-summer 2022 collection at Paris Fashion Week Monday (4 OCTOBER 2021). The 50-year-old designer presented the colorful collection at Espace Niemeyer, the headquarters of the French Communist Party, a building by Oscar Niemeyer. The collection of one-pieces evokes a \"sensual femininity,\" according to McCartney.   The show also featured the first ever bag made from Mylo, a vegan leather made from mushroom roots, along with recycled and regenerated textiles.  Mushrooms also featured on the prints. McCartney was inspired by a documentary called \"Fantastic Fungi,\" and the presentation began with narration by mycologist Paul Stamets. Shoes were designed for comfort, with pillowy platform wedge sandals featuring chunky silver zips and cut-out side details. McCartney\'s 79-year-old father Paul attended the show, along with Paris Jackson, Natalia Vodianova, Antoine Arnault, Anna Wintour, Edward Enninful and Karen Elson, who were seated front row.
