'(25 Jan 2017) NEW VALENTINO DESIGNER SHOWS FIRST COUTURE COLLECTION IN PARIS Pierpaolo Piccioli presented his first couture collection as the sole designer at Valentino Wednesday (25 JANUARY) at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild in Paris. His longtime collaborator, Maria Grazia Chiuri, left for Dior. The anticipated couture debut was well-received, much like Piccioli\'s ready-to-wear debut last October. The collection was a study in divine proportions highlighted by a billowing floor-length ivory crepe titled \"Euridice,\" from the Greek myth.
