'Did you know that across your county, there are children that eat the free lunch at school on Friday and aren’t fortunate enough to get to eat again until Monday morning? Some of these children go all weekend without eating, or very little food. I know from working in the schools and church over the past 12 years that this is a real need, no matter where you live. Every year in Burnsville, NC, TAP Photography produces a Prom Fashion Show to raise money and awareness for the Feed-A-Child program in their county. 11 years ago they were feeding 50 kids/week and now they are up to feeding nearly 400 kids/week on the weekends when they have little to nothing to eat. This is an amazing outreach program and I was honored to be able to be there to film the fashion show for them.
